Hello everyone, we are the "Mini Refiner" .
We are a very small team, with our core members being a group of non-professional model hobbyists who share a common goal of sharing model making and painting techniques. The establishment of our team aims to create a positive and healthy platform for communication and sharing among model enthusiasts who share a common hobby in today's fast-paced working life. We also want to encourage more friends who are interested in trying model making to join us because, as the saying goes, "it's better to teach a man to fish than to give him a fish."
With this original intention in mind, we incorporate the concepts of refining and perfecting models, hobbies, and love into our team's name, which is "Mini Refiner"
The founding of Mini Refiner has received support from a group of new and experienced model enthusiasts. We have also made many friends who are willing to selflessly share their model-making techniques, including some seasoned experts in the field. Through sharing and communication, everyone has improved their skills, and we have also guided many newcomers in the modeling community, helping them find their way. We believe this is the true meaning that modeling brings to us ordinary players.
The Beginning of Original Creations
The ability to develop and produce an original physical model of one's own is considered the ultimate goal for many model enthusiasts, and we are no exception. Compared to the well-established model industry in the Western world, Chinese-themed original model creations are still in their infancy. Therefore, we had the idea of creating a Chinese-themed model as a part of our small team, both as a way to commemorate our team's journey and to contribute to the world of modeling. Thus, “Journey to the West SERIES” was born.
"Monkey King - Unruly" is the first product from our studio. Together, we went through the entire process from concept art to modeling, production, and art box painting. Initially, we didn't have commercial intentions; it was simply a way to commemorate the establishment of our team and create something memorable that belonged solely to us. However, thanks to the love and support of fellow model enthusiasts, “ Journey to the West SERIES: Monkey King - Unruly” became our first commercially produced model, providing us with the motivation to continue this series. We sincerely appreciate everyone's support! Currently, our second product, “Lady White Bone - Captivating Souls”, has been released and is soon to be available for pre-order. We hope that our friends who appreciate our work will continue to accompany us on this journey!
